BADSANTA Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 I can go back to as far as 1993 Jermaine Spikes from Burkville rushing for 3000 yards in 1A where I have heard this last name. I know there have been many Spikes on Jasper and Newton roster. How big is this family and they are all great athletes in football. Anyone know this history here? All related? Chester86 Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 I work with Al and Tim Spikes. They were both part of state championship teams from Burkeville in the mid to late 80's. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 I was just telling Soulja Friday about those Spikes from up there. Quote
Alpha Wolf Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 The funny part my mom is a Spikes from Kirbyville/Call and my dad is a Ford from the same area. I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the Tailgate the other night... BADSANTA and Scatright 2 Quote
j_dog Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 Don't know much about this, but for sure one family of Spikes in Jasper moved there from Burkeville. Only problem with the Spikes and Jasper is that we need about 100 more of them! Scatright 1 Quote
OleMoe Posted September 6, 2016 Report Posted September 6, 2016 Newton has 2 spikes at running backs. The starter from last year has been out for the Kirbyville and Silsbee game. Newton also had their receiver and defensive back Foster out for both of those games. The #7 Spikes that played against Kirbyville and Silsbee can fly and a good back. They will be tough to beat when all return to the turf. Quote
