I guess everyone will have a different answer here. Do you guys always pick your home team each week? Or do you objectively make your picks? Just saw a few BC guys going with Bridge City over West Orange Stark tomorrow which made me think to ask this question lol.

I know for me i pick who I think is going to win, rather its the home team or not.

Things that factor in my picks is injuries to key personnel and/or key personnel being out for other reasons and how the teams matchup versus each other, I like to compare common opponents as a last resort if at all possible cause things change week to week.

With the season going the way it is currently going (as in very weird) everyone has a 99% chance at being 100% right in their picks.

I've seen both.  Some will homer pick no matter what.  Some will go objectively and pick who they think will win.

I usually pick who I think will win.  If it's close, I will sometimes pick my home team, often to my detriment.  Last week being a prime example,,,

Always pick against your home team. If they lose you win and if they win you win. Lol

I agree with that, especially if it's close.   Gotta win someway :)

And I get enough losses trying to pick winners, so what da heck!

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasn’t “gotten the latest COVID shots and I’m not going to.”  “I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;” Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UP”. "I don’t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They don’t.” Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of money… Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.” ‘We fly under the radar of being scrutinized…I don't think I have too much to worry about.’ Trump victory “worse for the NIH.” “It would be better for a Democrat to be in office.” WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back to…..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You don’t think that’s important?
    • I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
