Why is it wasting?

To me it's generally a waste to upgrade every time they come out.  The new phones seem to be about 5% better than the last one, and I'm not going to spend hundreds of bucks for that.  I recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to an iPhone 6s, and I could actually see a nice difference, and since I was due for an upgrade, I got a pretty good deal on it

I usually get every other phone or wait a couple of years. If it was just a phone then I might wait 5 years. They quit being just phones about 8 years ago. 

I mean, who wants to play Clash of Clans on an iPhone 3g?

Not that I will ever own one, but looks like they are going to hurt themselves with the wireless earbuds.  At $159, might deter some from getting the phone.
