TXHORN_ET Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 Auburn will be a much better team than what the Aggies have faced this season. Sometimes the better team doesn't win. It should be a good one. Quote
Whoopi Goldberg's Lips Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 There's sure to be some "Barn Stories" told in this one... Quote
Eazy Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 Wow. The pundits really going out on a limb, home team Auburn by 3, huh? I'll take the Ags. Quote
TxHoops Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 I will take the Ags as well. If history has taught us anything, it's that the wheels don't come off until October... Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 15, 2016 Report Posted September 15, 2016 There's something missing with Aggy, usually they start off like a national title contender then fade, I haven't seen that just yet. I dont think talent wise UCLA is that much better than Auburn, actually Auburn matches up better versus Aggy than UCLA, of course that's on paper, I think we all saw how that UCLA game went couple weeks ago. If Malzahn doesn't send the 3-ring circus out there as far as the rotation of QBs I think Auburn wins a close one. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 I'm halfway there! About to hit up the casinos in Biloxi tonight before headed to Auburn tomorrow. Gig Em! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Whoopi Goldberg's Lips Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 There's not a waffle house in Auburn, Mack. You have to drive on in to Opelika... Just a heads up. Quote

Aces_Full Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 Who wins this one? State of Alabama's stepchild or Great state of Texas' stepchild???? UTfanatic 1 Quote

Holman Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 Auburn should win this one rather easily. As Auburn's defense is the strongest it has been in years, particularly along the defensive front. Which will be going against A&M's weakest unit. I expect the Auburn defensive tackles to control the line of scrimmage against the young, inexperienced guard/center trio of the Aggies. Holman Quote

That part was brutal. I'm not looking forward to the drive home Sunday. I may just get them go drop me off at the airport and catch a flight back. Quote

PhatMack19 Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 Pretty awesome stadium tour. Toomer's Trees look bad, bad. Pretty sad. Quote
Whoopi Goldberg's Lips Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 That's a shame about them old oaks. Those things were there before there was even a town. And that was a sight to see them rolling the trees after a win. Got to see it twice at the expense of LSU and once vs the ol ball corch. For the culprit, I've got a lot of bamer friends that would've shot that A hole given the chance. Quote
Whoopi Goldberg's Lips Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Oh... And get there early enough tomorrow to see Nova fly into the stadium. That's quite the spectacle... If they allow it to. One time I was there they didn't let her fly cuz the over the field camera cables were a hazard. PhatMack19 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 do they have to schedule these games at the same time? This one is at the same time as the two games featuring ranked teams matching up (OU vs tOSU and ND vs Mich St). Good planning ESPN, Fox and NBC Quote
