I left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I don't have a dog in this fight but the referees are gonna be needing plenty of ice for their shoulders and arms after all the flags that were thrown.

Same thing at the Vidor Ned game.  Suspect Vidor had 200 yds - playing in Ned.  I'll post final if I get it..  Take care.

Hornets played hard to the finish it sounds like.

 Hats off to Evadale for pulling out the win.   The more disciplined team won this game .   Hemphill had a lot of talent, speed, and size.   One of their sophomores weighed 314 pounds and a couple of their running back were hed to tackle......like they were coated with butter.   Holding penalties cost them this game .

Didn't go to the game so I can't comment on the flags last night.  I did go to the JV game in Hemphill Thursday (Evadale won 12-0).  The Hornet JV had quite a few penalties and fumbles.  Essentially shooting themselves in the foot.  I remember thinking how much potential they had.  In fairness, Evadale had a couple, it was JV.
