If you are going to use us to build your credit up at least give correct information.  PNG scored once with a pass to number 6 and it was in the second half of the scrimmage.  Vidor scored 3 times once on starters and the other 2 on backups.

Actually Preston Hughes had a long run I believe in the first half. He is a good friend of my son so I remember it specifically.

I saw some holding by our dbs at the end of some pass plays, but you can't see those and not the holding by the o- line allowing the holds on the pass plays.

Accurate observation. That's what I saw through out the game. Don't have a problem with the flags just call it on both sides. Both teams fought hard. Exciting game. Need to be getting ready for next week.

I think PNG brings them back down to reality in about 2 weeks

Png will stop vidors running game, when they played ned they didn't have to worry about a roschon j taking off,our off will get after them, can there def deal with the whole package, and not just a qb you have got to watch because he will run on you, hows there pass def?ours needs alot of work real quick but not against them, lmbo.

Man I guess it's hate on Vidor week ain't it.

Hey i like coach JM its fun seeing him walking fast from side line to side line, wearing long sleeve shirts and shorts when its cold outside,he reminds me of dan hooks all over the field getting in the refs arse all the time, lol,i have met him many times great guy,one year he was in the store after the game in port neches and he was buying beer because he said he was stressed out,lol

Yeah i agree, with that said i think this will be vidors biggest test trying to run on a def thats pretty good against the run,i know its a diff year but same players for vidor and we stopped that run last year,so i don't see it changing too much we know how to stop that run, plus we have two very good Lb's so i think we will make enough stops to win, jmo,we will see it will be a blast.

Starting qb was injured last year.  Quirante knows how to lead that offense.  Just keep thinking it's the same team,  and you might be surprised.

Great math 14.2...then Porter smoked y'all. How about that for geometry? BTW, I would be sweating this...you might get us again in the playoffs and you'll get to face #23 all over again. Ask the school board if it's OK.

I wouldn't call going into overtime and winning by three getting smoked but if it suits your narrative then ok, just remember those studs we were missing will be playing. Be for real though dude, you lost by 5 tds at home and just had to go to overtime to beat a bad Nederland team. A Nederland team that lost to 2-3 Dayton and was shut out 42-0 by WOS. Jim Holley would do the same thing to Vidor Westeberg did. Nobody wants to play y'all because you suck and are irrelevant, the only reason BH put y'all on the schedule was because they needed an easy win for the new head coach to start his program off and that's exactly what happened.

Vidor gets crap games because your program is a cellar dweller and you run an antiquated system that doesn't prepare anybody for anything besides getting their knees cut all the time. Do you honestly think the reason the best non-district game you can get is Channelview because somebody is scared to line up with y'all? You play 3A, 4A and out of state schools because none of the other good teams in the state respect your program enough to think it's worth their while.

I don't have to ask our school board anything, maybe you should ask yours to provide a playing surface that won't require a grown up Easter egg hunt for their children's shoes though.

Nice post.  I'm not a football historian, but from what little I know, the record between Crosby & Vidor is Vidor 1 and Crosby 0.  So that "antiquated" system beat y'all down once, and probably will again if y'all even make the playoffs.  And speaking of cellar dwellers, isn't that the same term you would've used for Porter a few weeks ago?  I bet Porter played some, in your face, smash mouth football.   All the teams in 21-5A probably in the spread.  All kinds of WR & DB and no contact.  Vidor will put pads on you.  Not sure Crosby can handle that.

Lol, Porter threw for 400+ yards on Crosby, Vidor can't complete a forward pass. Crosby has probably only given up 350 rushing yards on the season after four games. Porter has a new coach and better players than Vidor, BH already showed Vidor that you can't handle that this year. You proved you're ignorant about Crosby football if you think kids like Tay'lor Perry or Johnny Harper won't come downhill and end your season or a kid like Trey Edwards won't run you slap over from the receiver position.

You're right though, five years ago when Kevin Flannigan was coaching here and we didn't have any of the current kids on the team Vidor beat a 6-4 Crosby team with the sophomore Twins for their first and only bi-district win in 54 years. That coach was fired and hired at WB, well see if Matthews can even keep his team on the field with Riordan at the helm. He couldn't with BH before we blew them out.

Not very difficult, Barbers Hill beat them by 5 tds before we blew them out. I think PAM at least equals what BH did to them.

I guess the Coogs forgot the butt kicking Vidor gave you all at Lamar a few years ago. I worked security for Lamar on the Coogs side and you all couldn't believe that Vidor was running the ball down your throats. I told several of you then that Vidor had a good football team and your defense needed to do a better job of tackling.

Jmo, y'all would have trouble stopping Vidor this year.  They'd run so many different ways, the Cougars are bound to like one of'em.  You're right, never seen Crosby play since Lamar.  Haven't seen Vidor play since Angleton.  Just don't appreciate folks downing a team and a community.  Vidor doesn't have all the big bucks coming in from Industry.  Doubt they could afford Turf.  But there's been a lot more football games played on grass than artificial turf.
