Charlie will have the Horns ready. Perrine hasn't had a good game against Texas yet. I don't recall who it was, but it might be beneficial to show the tackle on perrine where he got formed up and slammed to the ground. I'd be more worried about Mixson.

Just heard Warren is done for the year with a torn PCL.  D. Foreman should be back with a bruised oblique.  And the reason we haven't seen Buechele throw it deep the past game and a half is because he did hurt his ribs in the Cal game and can't risk torqueing and heaving it deep.  So we're proper screwed v. bloU...

I just have a hard time with just because Charlie is taking over, that our defense will be that much better. I just feel like since Charlie was a known DC that whatever program he ran, it was his defense of philosophy that would be put in place.

Only comparison I can come up with is when Wade Phillips was HC in Dallas, our defense was lagging and he took over and we improved overnight. Did the same with the Texans and look at Denver. Always helps to have talent, but good coaching can sometimes overcome that.

Mayfield showed up to the field today in a boot.  The say he will still play.  Texas needs to get after him and make him move.

They got a gift on that second pick.  Blatant tackle of the receiver in the middle of his route led to the ball going straight to Texas.  Oh well, OU sucks
