kville07 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 yeah aaron is like 5' 7" this year and dosent even weigh 145 maybe 135 or 140 but it really dosent matter. they are an all around team
Master T Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 JEREMY JOHNSON WILL BE SILSBEE QB. HE'LL BE A SOPHMORE NEXT YEAR AND HAS A ARM OF A CANNON, HE'S REAL FAST TOO. HE WAS ON ALL SILSBEE RELAYS TEAM. SO HE MORE OF A RUSHING QB BUT HE STILL HAS RECEIVER TO THROW IT TOO.
Go-rilla Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Brett Ramsey went D-3.. I think Brooks may be a little more advanced because he's been on varsity 3 years already.. They are very similar though.. I think d-2 is possible for anthony.. He's the BEST 3A QB in this area bar none.. Hazelwood may play in the playoff's and Wos's kid is a superb athlete.. But as for next year.. the best QB will be Brooks.
Cat22 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Brooks is a good one. I'm glad that Orangefield is scrimmaging Tarkington this year. I look forward to watching Brooks.
Guest wos country Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 HIPPO AT WOS IS A RUNNER AND A GOOD ONE
GEV55 Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 hazelwood from k-ville seems to be pretty goodwatch out for silsbee's jeremy johnson though. he is very impresive
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 They all look to be dang good!
PoppaBearstarr Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 Don't forget Elliot at HJ he played QB most of last season as a Soph.
HJ-Hawks25 Posted June 23, 2007 Author Report Posted June 23, 2007 Jeremy Johnson...He was also the kid from silsbee on the freshmen b-ball team that could dunk...I've seen him play a couple times in 7-on-7 this summer...See what he has to show in the 2007 season.
OldTimer Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Tarkington's Anthony Brooks is a decent quarterback – but to call him the best in the area is a little much. I have watched him play for the last three years and he has yet to really impress me. I will say that part of his problem is that he does not have a great offensive line or a quality core of receivers to work with. But with that said I believe he has yet to win a district game in 22AAA. If you can’t win a district game its hard to sell that you are the best QB in the area. In those 4 district games in 2006 he averaged just under 150 yards pasing per game – still a ways from being impressive. I have nothing against the Brooks boy but don’t crown him the best in the area till he proves it.
Guest ballfan Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 stublefield is pretty good for jasper he can throw the ball with great accuracy.

Im not taking anything away from him, i mean he is a good player, but he is no where near the best qb around here. his stats mean nothing. tarkington passes about 70% of the time , so of course he is going to rack up the numbers. is every hawaii and texas tech qb the best qb in the nation? NO!. Brooks could probably play d-3. No way he goes 1a.
