setxnative96 Posted October 1, 2016 Report Posted October 1, 2016 Liberty continues to roll. Liberty 42 OF 14 Quote
Tiger33 Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 I'm going to take Orangefield in this one Quote
WildcatBacker Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Well, if you lend any weight to the head to head of common opponents, then Liberty will walk in this one. They beat Woodville, Woodville beat us, and we beat Orangefield. Woodville beat Orangefield too. I tend to not go by that stuff but in this case, I gotta pick Liberty. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Liberty will roll in this one. I dobut they give up a score, if I'm being honest. TexasPanther2012 1 Quote
Bobkat Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Orangefield is finally getting healthy and something clicked offensively in the 2nd half vs LCM that has carried over the past two games. Liberty is playing great but I think it'll be closer than everyone thinks. Tiger33 and Gasilla 2 Quote
DW28 Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 I think this will be a lot closer than most think, but Liberty still wins. Panthers 34 Bobcats 26 Quote
Bobcat101 Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 If OF doesn't fumble then they will be within striking distance to win the game..... liberty can / could score possibly on every possession. OF will rely on ball control to win. Quote
aTmfan06 Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 Who will most likely be the fourth place team in this district Quote
bjimbo Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 Looks very similar to the Jasper vs HJ predictions and we were all surprised by that outcome!! Quote

drewlsu Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Liberty likely wins. But not a blowout. Liberty 34 OF 27 I do think loser gets 4th in district. HF will go winless. Quote
Hupernikomen Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Liberty is very physical and offensively talented. They are a team playing with some swagger. Haven't seen Orangefield, but is likely a 2 or 3 TD win for Liberty based on year's results. TexasPanther2012 1 Quote

OF should get 4th and HF should go 0-4 in district. Quote
TexasPanther2012 Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 I know Orangefield is always fairly disciplined and they have beat us two years in a row, . I don't underestimate them but I do predict a Liberty win. I can't imagine if they lost 41-7 to a team we beat that they could somehow beat us, that wasn't last year that was a couple of weeks ago , that alone has me thinking this should be a panther win but of course common opponents don't always tell you exactly what the outcome will be. That game OF lost 41-7 was a very bad outing for us. No excuses, we lost and earned that lost. However, over the last 3 weeks OF has made some improvements and are not the same team that lost by 34 points. I think everyone of our 2 way starters are 100% healthy for the first time. Granted, I'm sure Liberty isn't the same team from a month ago. With that said, OF needs to make sure they don't fumble the ball to keep the game within reach. But I still think this year's game will be an uphill battle for OF against Liberty. TexasPanther2012 1 Quote

That's why i was sure to include the comment that common opponents do not always matter. It was a close game last year so i wouldn't be surprised if it was close again. Just think the panthers will come out on top this time around. Quote
OldBallCoach90 Posted October 5, 2016 Report Posted October 5, 2016 This will determine who gets 2nd and 3rd... I cant see HF and HJ beating anyone of these two teams... with that being said I think this game will be a 31-28 Bobcat Victory. Quote
