I don't understand why Vidor isn't ranked #1 in the state.  After all, they are the most dominant team in the entire SETX area.  Have been for years.

The have Cuero as #2. How many from last years team is back? WOS beat them last year, just wondering.

I also see Cuero will have to play Sinton, who is also ranked, that will be for district. Should be a great game.

And Navarro........who might turn out to be the best of the 3.

Cuero has been a thorn in Navarro's side several years in a row. Navarro is very one-dimensional (run, run, run, etc) albeit they're very good at that dimension. As soon as they come up against a team that can stop the run and convert a few passes they lose. 2A Refugio held them to 14 points and they had a scare this past week to a private school. Wharton is also in that district with Sinton and Cuero and have a ton of returning starters so they have the potential of throwing a wrench in there if they pull it together.

Gladewater can run the football and play defense. Thats a good combination.
