JWB Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 I don't think he'll jerk that dogs chain again! Go Rangers! Quote
Ty Cobb Posted October 6, 2016 Author Report Posted October 6, 2016 I just want the RANGERS to win this series. I can't stand toronto and their fans. Quote
baddog Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 I'm an Astros fan and since it is obvious we can't beat the Rangers, can I be an honorary Ranger fan for a few weeks? I promise to go back to hating them in April. Lol BS Wildcats and Ty Cobb 2 Quote

baddog Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 Well, that was ugly. Gotta play better than that. Quote
bullets13 Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 Rangers look like crap again today. It was kind of a weird season. They won a ton of 1-run games this year, but their bullpen wasn't great, their starters weren't great, and the hitting has been streaky at best (and on a downturn lately). Even with the best record in the AL this season, I kinda expected them to lose this series. It's not over yet, but they've got a tall mountain to climb ManiacAlum2000 1 Quote
ManiacAlum2000 Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 The Rangers run differential through the regular season and playoffs is now -2. The other division champions averaged +155. This was a tough draw with Toronto's rotation and right-handed heavy lineup. Quote
Ty Cobb Posted October 9, 2016 Author Report Posted October 9, 2016 Game 3 tonight at 7:30 in toronto. Probable starters: TEX: Colby Lewis (6-5 3.71 era) tor: Aaron Sanchez (15-2 3.00 era) Colby Lewis has not looked good since he came off the DL. Hopefully the bats can get going early to give him the support he will need. Gotta win this one. NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!!! Quote
Eagles12 Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 The differential being +8 and 8th in the league always said a lot to me. You always hear baseball people say the + - always tells the story of how good teams really are. Not to mention anything can happen in a 5 game short series. I thought coming in the Rangers would lose a 5 game series to any teams in the AL except for maybe Cleveland. Yu and Cole just didn't match up great with power lineups both had given up large amounts of home runs throughout the year. Quote
Ty Cobb Posted October 10, 2016 Author Report Posted October 10, 2016 Very disappointing way to end what was a great season. Another year that pitching lets the RANGERS down. Quote
