XX Man
Bottom line, at this point, will the kid get to play this year? If not, can he go back and play for PAM? Seriously, after seeing how poorly Nederland played against WOS, Nederland at best, could only expect about 1 or 2 (max) games more.
GameChanger84
Yes he could go back and play if he lives with legal guardian inside the school district, but he would have to sit 15 days.

It's Neumann's job to drive around at night and see where his players are sleeping. Someone got tired of Nederland winning District titles every year, turned him in, and the rest is history. Bingo ! "Well actually......" UIL numbers moved up and PAM moved down. 42-12 and the former 4th string QB would've helped........

It is Neumann's and the School Superintendent's job to make sure that the child's living where his paperwork says he lives and that ALL the proper documentation is in place BEFORE the child can play. Otherwise, everyone with any money can be Katy and draft whatever player they want from whatever school they want. The desire to win superceded good sense and the Leday kid (who could've probably been playing legally by now) and the rest of the children at Nederland High suffered for it, period. If there were no foul, there would be no penalty. Perhaps a lot of nederville's winning is based in similar incidents and this is the first one they got caught at? Finesser
Been knowing lil Kevin and his family , to be honest alot of times these kids just wanna play , since they were in pop warner people been anointing them the next best thing , but we all know , (especially those that's played sports at a somewhat high level) it's gets harder once you get older , the same dude you were faster than in 6th grade can beat you now that y'all in the 10th , now that other dude is stronger , it's like that because those same dudes been putting in the work to get better , while the dude who's been anointed in pop warner stop putting in the necessary work , at PAM it's allot of competition for EVERY position , my nephew is Greg Leday , him and lil Kevin first cousins , Greg had to put in that work to get that corner spot ( with allot of 2 days from me lol) just saying you got to work to get it , allot of PAM kids go to MC to play football for obvious reasons , not saying those schools don't have talent but nine times outta ten , the kid will get significant playing time because more than likely he's the most talented , whereas he wasn't at PAM , In the end it's all about the work you put in no matter what school✔ Cheermom4, CAL2TEX, rykerx144 and 2 others
