Final 21-15 Hempstead. Could have been a big win for EC! Still proud of this young group of guys battling like they did!

Almost a nice comeback win.  looks like EC's playoff streak could come to an end this year.  They are young and inexperienced this year, but still playing competitive football.  By the way what kind of team does Hempstead have.  Dont know anything about the new teams in the district.

Err...it's a 6 team district...all EC has to do is beat Anahusc and Hardin at home and the steak stays alive. And I like them against Hitchcock.

They were 2-8 overall and 1-4 in district last year. They will probably take the 3rd seed in our district this year. Looks like their program is moving in the right direction.

Point is EC can make the playoffs with wins over HH and AP. Hitchcock will be tough but you never know.

It depends. If you have a 20 year streak going on, much of that streak was generated when it DID mean something. If some one has a short streak, like 10 years or less in this watered down environment, its irrelevant. Personally, I would rather miss the playoff than go in with a losing record and get slaughtered in the first round. JMO.
