He could handle Orangefield, and even Crosby. But, he is in way over his head, in Big Boy 6A football. Being mediocre won't win at this level.

I seen Recivers running wide open down the field, DBs coming up to sack the QB while the WR runs deep,..DL getting outta gap and LB with their shoulders towards the sideline which allowed the RB to cutback all night..Now I may not be a coach but I sure played ball and know those are a no-no..

but like I've preached on here BISD needs to get proven coaches to build programs since they let the ones we had get away (Stump,Stowers,Brooks)

Always about the coach! People complained about Craig when he was there, Stowers also. Last time a Bmt school made the semifinals? 1982 last state champs. So no good coaches in 34 years?

Y'all are really down on this WB team now. Not even a Lufkin thread for this coming week. This game may be more important than the Woodlands one, considering it's for the top playoff seed in D2 and home-field advantage. I'm surprised y'all aren't talking about it.

Bingo !!!..Alex Durley has been simulated but never duplicated... IMO Neumann and his current staff at Westbrook  which has the best talent in Beaumont would bring back deep playoff runs every year.

West Brook has to get passed just winning the Beaumont Bowl trophy.  They consistently pull a large number of football athletes because they have consistently beaten most teams in the area.  With the numbers they have and the student athletes they have, they should be able to compete with anyone in the state.  Coach Stump competed with his numbers because he had an excellent staff and had a great scheme.  I was told that on several plays last night that WB was running kids on the field with seconds to spare prior to the snap of the football.  I heard they not only were over matched but were unprepared. 

Stump was overrated and under achieved as the head coach of West Brook. With NFL talent he lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs. I'm no Flannigan fan but he would have won state with the talent Stump had.
