Woodville (6-1)(3-0) vs Buna (4-2)(2-0)

The Buna Cougars (4-2)(2-0) travel with their undefeated district record into Woodville to take on the also undefeated, district leading Eagles (6-1)(3-0). Buna is coming off a win over Kountze, 28-13, while Woodville is coming off a huge win over Trinity, 46-0. Buna is coming off of 4 straight wins and has improved exponentially since their opening week blowout loss to Orangefield. Woodville has been impressing as of late and should continue to do so this week. Buna will play hard and probably compete well at times, but I think Woodville is easily at least a three or four score favorite at home.

Overconfidence can easily kill a win spirit!! A quote I read somewhere. On any given day any team can be beaten & dethroned. People bed to heed to this. I am looking at all of the ap polls, I don't see anywhere where Woodville is ranked in the top 10 in any polls. Therefore I would just take it one game at at time

I agree with your post, but I think his point is valid. It shouldn't be that close at all. Just look at the numbers and common opponents. Since we are the "paper champs", right Ryker?
