If you ever wanted to start a major war with the US, now is the time.  Our forces have been reduced.  Military morale has to be at an all time low, since the Democrats have moved all their social programs into the only Govt organization that worked right.  I'd bet most of the "hardline" patriotic, high ranking officers have been forced out - because of the line in the oath, "against all enemies, foreign or domestic".   Add to that sad commentary the like of patriotism in our country today, and you've got the perfect storm.

Seriously, if Russia landed troops on the shores of North Carolina, how many California's do you think would pick up a weapon to help fight them?  Or, if they landed in Cal, how many New Yorkers?  The US is sitting here, ripe for the taking.  To me, this country is literally FUBAR.

Texas already was part of an arse kicking in the civil war

Take a little time to defend your candidate on the comparing the tax plans thread...you know, something that will actually affect your life...not what Trump said 20 years ago.

And that was a major upset.  A HS football analogy would be Sabine Pass beating PNG.

Actually, in my long life, I've read of, or watched on History Ch, quite a few military battles, but can't think of any (although I'm sure there are some) more outstanding than Sabine Pass, and the battle of San Jacinto.

It wasn't just an upset, it was an arse kicking, as toby put it.

Sniff, sniff, sniff...I smell BS.  Although, Putin doesn't sound happy with how things are going in Syria, I think this "Bring everyone Home" deal is overblown.  He knows full well, 7500 nukes vs. 7200 nukes isn't going to end well for any of us.

It's called M.A.D......Mutually Assured Destruction. I know you knew that. Just putting it here for the peace loving lefties.

I learned it begrudgingly. My dad worked on the Titan II in the early 70's, so i consider myself pretty well versed in nuclear warfare. Lulz... Nothing more interesting for a 12 year old boy than talking about missiles!

Cool. Tell your dad thanks. I love ICBMs.

Will do!  And I love them too, as long as they stay comfortably in their silos!

Yes sir. I'm no expert but most people don't realize what those things can do or their path. Even though everyone should know about M.A.D., there are those who think it is survivable. In case of a nuclear war, I want it to hit about 5 miles from my house for maximum efficiency. I'm kinda like Ron White and his plane crash. He says "Hit something hard. I don't want to limp away from this S.O. B."

There is a far greater chance that I will have to pick cotton than you will.   By the way, are you somehow looking down on those who pick cotton or other agricultural products?  I thought you gave everyone equal respect and dignity?
