How many games minimum before you can even consider it a rivalry?

Is WOS/Gilmer  a rivalry? Serious question.

Hence my statement about history and the stakes in the game.  Ned  has played Vidor 67 times and 56-10-1 isn't much of a rivalry.   Not to mention that most of those games weren't for a playoff spot or a DC.

Liberty and Dayton should play every year. It seems that the talent pool may be evening out, so lets get it back on the schedule!

Crosby, Barbers Hill & Dayton will ALWAYS be rivalry games NO MATTER WHAT lol

outside of being a crosstown thing, something BIG or SIGNIFICANT has to happen in the game. example...PAM vs NS...small rival. what made that the game of the year for us was when we played them in the Mud Bowl in P.A. we ended a long district winning streak for them. so every year it was some chippy plays on the field that made us not like them and vice versa.

I think I would have listed 10 or 12 teams for WOS before Newton. I respect Newton, but it's not a rivalry. We don't really have a proper rival these days. I dont know if we ever have.
