Their still saying Feb 1st both fields at PNG will be complete. They seem to be pretty fast.

Already laying turf on the softball field and the coach told me they are on schedule and should be finished by 02/1. Said the softball field will only take a couple of days to turf then the fences will go up.

Sounds like you have better contacts than I do so maybe 2/1 but by the looks and all that is left I still believe 2nd week of February....Probably around 2/8 to 2/10. I know they are excited and ready to get on it.

Scrimmages start Monday so I am sure some have been scheduled on these fields.

PNG field not ready. Monday scrimmage moved to Westbrook according to their twitter.

I have heard the Crosby fields are awesome. However, they do not have the funds to purchase roll out batting cages, bats, equipment in general.

From my experience, no.

"Truer" hops, consistent playing surface, and advanced turf technology makes it very similar to grass. I mean natural grass is the best if you have a full time crew to maintain it.

You have to have the money to maintain it though from the normal wear and tear. Especially 2nd base and home plate areas. They tend to wear out from usage.

I am going to venture a "No". We went to a softball game there a few weeks a go and they are a long way from being finished.

Here for the Crosby softball game and both of the newer fields are finished with turf. Just adding the peripherals. 

Complex is about 70% complete.
