mytwocents-28
Well lumbertons loss tonight eliminates them so we're down to central, Ned, and liv. Livingston controls their own destiny basically. If they beat central and ozen they are in. What has to happen for central and Ned for them to get in?? NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn
If Nederland and Livingston both win out they'd each be 5-3. Is head to head the tiebreaker? If somehow Central, Nederland, and Livingston all finished 4-4 what would the tiebreaker be?
NDOMAKONG
There are a handful of scenarios out there, we still need the games to be played. Central may decide to get their business together and give PNG a game, they have the running game to do it. One two teams that appear to truly be in are PAM and Vidor. There are scenarios where even PNG could reasonably be bumped if Ned, Central, PNG finish at 5-3. Lots of football to play

Nederland's most important game that they aren't playing in is the Livingston/Central game here in a couple weeks. If Livingston wins that game, then it will be very tough for the Dogs to make the playoffs. Period. mytwocents-28

jake94
I would be surprised if Livingston beats Central from what I saw from both teams. Where and when is that game? AthleticSupporter - Jock

If Central, Nederland and Livingston tie. The first tie breaker is head to head which means they see if one of the tied teams beat the two others. If Central, Nederland and Livingston tie, the likelihood is that they will all have 1-1 records against each other. Then the tiebreaker goes to positive points, which is the points depending of the margins of victory in the games of Nederland vs. Livingston, Nederland vs. Central and Central vs. Livingston. With one game left to play in that (Livingston/Central on the 28th at the Butch), the positive points look like this: Nederland: +6 (1 pt loss to Livingston, 7 pt win over Central) Livingston: +1 (1 pt win over Nederland) Central: -7 (7 pt loss to Nederland) So, assuming that they are tied at 4-4, then: If Livingston beats Central, they get the final spot (Livingston has the head to head over Nederland and Central) If Central beats Livingston by 13 or less, Nederland gets the spot (Nederland would be at worst tied with Central on positive points and get the spot based on their win over Central) If Central beats Livingston by 14 or more, Central gets the spot (Central would have at least +7 on positive points which would be the best positive point total) NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn

For example, if Livingston beats Central and Nederland wins out, both are 5-3 and Nederland stays home. PNG could lose to Central and Nederland, and all three finish at 5-3 with Ned and Central holding the head to head leaving PNG at home. Seems unlikely, but not out of the realm of possibility.
