With that much inside information about personnel, and knowing how                  unprofessional this man was, sounds like you are either one of the board members, administrators, or one of the coaches who wanted him gone.

90yshallow is actually a good guy. I think he is perhaps a bit naive when it comes to the Hardin athletic program. Hopefully he will be a part of the change for the better in Hardin. Open your eyes 90.

The problem when you have the Bubba's (Literally in Hardin's case) causing trouble from the stands is having the kids buy into your program.  Any small school will have problems and continue to have problems as long as board members get involved in football.

As an AD you can't act the way Stark did in public and expect any kind of job security.  When you win like he did at West Sabine you can get away with a lot more un-professional indiscretions.  If you're losing you had better walk the line and have a plan for turning the corner.  Stark couldn't act right (in public on campus) and didn't have a plan to turn that program around...if it is even possible with the athletes they have.  

No victims to see here...Everyone at that place gets to sleep in the beds that they made.

Were you a coach or teacher there while Stark was?  Because I personally don't believe you have any idea how he acted on campus.

And if so...you're telling me that the way he "acted" was only enough reason to let him go after starting the season 0-5?  So if they had started 5-0 the way he "acted" would've been perfectly ok?

This is one of the craziest things I've ever read. Care to elaborate on what "acting right in public and on campus" means?

You are a perfect example of why Hardin is and always will be a career killer for any coach the signs an employment contract there.  Tod Stark has been one of the most well respected and liked coaches at every school he has ever been to.  He is personable, gets involved in the community, demands respect from his student/athletes, and exemplifies good morals and character.  This sums up his reputation everywhere he has ever been.  Judging by the amount of community support he ended up getting in Hardin (a lot, for those that don't know) it seems that it was a select few board members and ex coaches that couldn't cut it that drove the final nail in his coffin.  Personal agendas over the well being of the school and athletic program.  By the way, until Stark left how was the Jr. High and JV programs doing?  As a new AD that is where you start.

See??  That's what's silly.  In Hardin 3 years is considered tenured and a long career.  Remember the part where I said something to the tune of you're a perfect example of the problems in Hardin.  Take a minute and read your own posts.
