Cheermom4 Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 Great game tonight, Jags. Loved the bands half time performance. It was on point. STLGpurple 1 Quote
ndn2016 Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 Just got in from the game. I thought both coaches hurt their teams. Both teams are making too many mistakes for this late in the year. PNG coaching staff was a disaster during the whole 3rd quarter. Delay of game on a 2nd and 2 cause they couldn't make up their mind what to call. Ran QB too much going to get him hurt and cost big time in the long run. he's a heck of a player but he should not be running the ball with a 14 point lead and 4 minutes left. If I never see another Pooch (Puke) kick on a kick off I would be happy. gave the ball to Central on the 40 yd line one time on a kickoff. Central player took a Puke kick for about 25 yards so they started on the PNG 35 yard line one time. PNG won but it was not a pretty win. Central found out way too late that #12 could get outside for 20 plus yards only ran that 3 times. Just disappointed in the play of two teams that have a lot of potential PNG2720, Tj yellow jacket and CAL2TEX 3 Quote

I only had a problem with the one nocall by the officials right before the half. I understand the officials mostly come from the Houston area. The Indians played a clean game with no turnovers and earned the victory. Once again Faircloth got the better of Foreman. We'll have a new general next year when you all visit the Butch. Good luck, beat Nederland and get past the 1st round. Footballfan1209 and akifan94 2 Quote

Outside that the refs didn't interfere in the game that i could see. I am pulling for the Jags to make the playoffs Quote

Finesser Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 Good game from both teams , Roschon was the best player on the field , he takes a bunch of hits though , the kid is tough , he took a beating last week and he took a few tonight and he popped up like a jack rabbit lol , IMO they run him entirely too much , but I'm at home and Faircloth is the coach lol , Riggs is good too , On Central , ol Toby bites the dust again , he was on the right track then it got away from him , I have a soft spot for the jags because my Uncle graduated there , they need a new coach terribly bad , but in all good clean game from both teams , closer than I thought.. prepballfan Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 PN-Gs defense held Central to 219 yards according to the paper.. Quote

They missed holding calls on the WR all night long. The obvious play calling by BF was horrible, only thing I figure was NED had a bye so he was showing them QB run all night. I don't know, don't mind watching Shug do his thing but damn don't get him hurt for Christs sake. SMH had the wind at our back and pooch kicking freaking ridiculous. Alpha Wolf and PNG2720 2 Quote

prepballfan Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 We only threw the ball 10 times and completed 7 of them Thats a 70% rate. I would say either FC saw something in the game tape or just plain thought he could run it on them. It was kinda like watching old PNG run the ball Quote
