Is Porter The Best HS Football Team In The State Of Texas?

I can name 15 teams, in Region 3 or local, off the top of my head that would crush Porter 12:00 noon @ there stadium.

Katy, Lamar, Cy Ranch, Klein Collins, Klein Oak, Westfield (local), Northshore, Atascocita, Woodlands, Alief Taylor, Manvel, Clear Springs, Dickinson, Ridge Point,

Cedar Park (region 3), Richmond Foster

Is it really necessary to bash Porter and their schedule because of one silly post. We get it Crosby you had guys hurt it is a well known and well stated fact. The district is down and they haven't beat the highest level of competition also not something that is unknown. But the kids and coaching staff have worked very hard and had a great season no matter what is said or posted on here you can't take that away from the kids.

I will give them props. They are having an awesome season. It may not be much to some people but it's a hell of a good time for these kids. I hope they at least go away with 1 loss (they play us Nov. 4). They should be very proud of themselves

quit worrying about classification...here's a good reason why. The worst lost calpreps has for WOS out the state's finest (THIS YEAR) mind you is ...ALLEN 35 WOS 24. Not saying that calpreps is the end all be all, but they have been pretty accurate so far this year. More accurate than people on a message board talking about it. Everyone ahead of WOS in this poll is 6A.

History says that the metromess teams are just better and beat up on the Houston area teams on a regular basis. They will always be ranked higher. As for Porter, talking about some of these big time programs and them on the same post is pretty silly. This is probably as good as it will ever get for them, and then one more realignment will move them and New Caney back into reality.

Your expert opinion on New Caney and Porter are based on what? As good as it will ever get? Have you seen either New Caney or Porter play? This area is growing and with growth comes talent. Both teams should be good for awhile.

If your referring to 6a then you dont know what your talking about. Numbers right now for both about 1800, no matter what youve heard

Not even close.  Beaumont West Brook 6A would beat Porter by at least four TD's if Porter were having a good night.  TWHS another 6A team beat West Brook by 65.  As someone said earlier, Porter despite the perfect record hasn't played any contender in 5A and they certainly are not among the elite 5A teams.
