By Kevin Askeland | MaxPreps.com "For three straight years, Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.) has been the small school powerhouse in the nation, but this year another Florida small school is making a run at the top. Oxbridge Academy (West Palm Beach, Fla.) has moved into the top spot after starting the season at No. 2. Oxbridge Academy has just one loss on its schedule and that was to national power IMG Academy. Among the big wins for Oxbridge Academy include victories over Carol City (Miami), Flanagan (Pembroke Pines) and American Heritage (Delray Beach). Trinity Christian Academy, which comes in at No. 2, has an uncharacteristic three losses on its schedule, falling to IMG Academy, Cocoa and Lincoln (Tallahassee). Maryville (Mo.) is 10-0 and comes in at No. 3 while another Florida team, Madison County, is No. 4. Perennial Ohio small school state champion Marion Local (Maria Stein, Ohio) comes in at No. 5. badndn Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 Most of 4A is under 1000. And any of these Texas teams ahead of WOS just prooves that zero research goes into this. Also small private schools recruit sooooo. Quote
Goblin Posted October 29, 2016 Report Posted October 29, 2016 WOS would be in the Medium schools rankings. MaxPreps usually divides into 3 separate rankings. WOS was #5 in the preseason medium school ranking so I would imagine they're still top 5. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Quote
