racking up them wins in region 4...im not sure but i dont think hes ever been past the semi finals....nonetheless thats still a ton of wins and very impressive

He coached at HF 1978-1983. I am a Beaumont native - graduated from West Brook in 1984 and graduated from Lamar in 1989 - now live in Corpus Christi and handle all of the Calallen football records and run the football booster club. Also good friends with him.

Danaher has been to the semi-finals 10 times and won once (2005 over Brenham) - losing in the state championship game in 2005 - Region 3 teams just tend to have superior talent to us.

I know I met Danaher while he was at HF - I was basketball manager at Forest Park and West Brook.

And I remember his interviewing for the PNG job - glad he didn't take it.
