Cornel Thompson's Mustangs, 9-0 on the season, ran their district mark to 3-0 and clinched a share of the district championship with a 32-7 victory over Liberty on Friday. Meanwhile, Josh Smalley's Bobcats, 5-4 on the season and 2-1 in district play, put themselves in position to earn a share of the district title with a 17-15 win over Hardin-Jefferson last Friday. I don't blame them though, they are trying to get through the game without injuries and get ready for the playoffs. Mustangs just too much. We are running plays we really haven't all season.
