To clarify drewlsu's post:

If HJ wins they will represent the district as the third place team. If they lose they will be out of the playoffs.

If HF wins they will represent the district as the fourth place team. If they lose they will be out of the playoffs.

The point spread is to where HF is out. OF is -15 HJ is +1 HF is -36 so if they win by 38

If HF wins then both HJ and HF will be 1-3 in district. HF advances based on head to head.

If HJ wins then OF, HJ, and Liberty would all be tied at 2-2. That's when the point spread comes in play. Liberty would be 2, HJ 3 and OF 4.

If it ends in three way tie (HJ, Liberty, OF at 2-2) this will be the seeding:

1. WO-S

2. Liberty (+12: 42-27 win over OF, 14-17 loss to HJ)

3.  HJ (+1: 17-14 win over Liberty, 15-17 loss to OF)

4. OF (-12: 17-15 win over HJ, 27-42 loss to Liberty)

Hj better bring out all the bells and whistles for this game. Sometime a little offensive creativity can spark a real good team into being an awesome team. HJ has some awesome athletes but are a lot of times bottled up with no running lanes.  Should not have come down to this one game but that is why all games have to be played. Current records mean nothing in this one. HJ better not take the horns lightly. If they do they will be hanging up the helmets and start contemplating on how to beat Silsbee this year in Basketball.

That is not even necessary this year as far as district goes. Those two are in separate districts now.

Im aware of this but when the time comes for the game to be played it will still be a very hot topic!!!!! but to be honest every body in setx will be contemplating on how to handle them lol. more to come on the basketball forum. But for now lets hope for a speedy recovery for number 12 and an HJ playoff birth.

Couldn't of said it any better.  Seemed like HJ didn't prepare as well as OF did but I'm sure that isn't the issue this week.  Hopefully  #12 and #58 might play on Friday.  #58 hasn't played since Jasper and he's a huge part of the defense.  I think HJ will handle business and start preparing for Shepherd or Bellville on Saturday.
