Why did the ref put more time on the clock and the stopped the clock to allow carthage more time to set up that play , they knew what they were doing

Looks like the Crosby refs showed up at y'alls' game.

Calvin Tyler rushed for about 360 yards and 3 TDS tonight. For the season he has to be close to 2800 yards in 11 games. Fantastic season for him and the entire Tiger season. Good Luck to all the seniors!!!

 

Silsbee had the ball 1st and goal and turnover on downs. It would have game them at least a 36-28 lead.

The clock stopped first because of the first down if I remember right may have been incomplete pass then it took longer because we were questioning the time I believe.  I really didn't see anything big in the refs part.  That last drive we had was the big difference,  one thing I didn't understand at all is we snapped the ball with about 10 seconds or so on almost every play of that drive.  We could have eaten off probably 30 seconds or more that we left on the clock.  Carthage got the ball back and went downfield and scored and won.
