Why is Willie holding on to the ball too long are the receivers not getting open I mean short passes or something to loosing up Carthage just running alone is not going to win they are going to pile up on calvin the rest of the night get other people involved

I think he's still feeling the effects of the horse collar tackle on the Carthage sideline

Maybe...

But that has been the theme all year.  Holds the ball.  Doesn't throw many INTs but then doesn't make many attempts on the run.

Blocking plays a big part, no time to throw.  I don't believe he has been comfortable all year in the pocket.

That being said...  You have to make the throws when you do get time.    50/50 at best on that note.

Deep Pass set up the run.

Watch their defense.  Switched it up for one play and he was gone.
