Charlie Strong is no longer the head coach of the Texas Longhorns after the loss to Kansas Saturday. Strong is now the Defensive Coordinator and Vance Bedford is the new Head Coach.

Charlie has been coaching for his job for most of the year.  The next two games were going to be more of the same.  But I believe Herman was auditioning for the job he covets tonight.  And I predict he will be doing some New Year home shopping in Westlake or Lake Travis. And bringing back some familiar faces to our Capital  city.

Would Major be in the running for the head job at UH?  I haven't seen much mention of that, but he's done well there.  They would just have to keep him away from the training staff.

I would think he gets an intervew at least.
