Goblin Posted November 22, 2016 Report Posted November 22, 2016 WOS could win their 24th game in a row Friday, tying their all-time record from '86-'88. Name the 10 other programs who have two separate 24 game win streaks or better including 6-man in UIL history. Ties don't count. Quote

1989NDN Posted November 22, 2016 Report Posted November 22, 2016 Abilene and Amarillo? From the early days, 1940s and 1950s, I think those two programs were at the top of the pecking order. Just wild guesses. Go Indians. Peace. Goblin 1 Quote
Goblin Posted November 22, 2016 Author Report Posted November 22, 2016 One went 51-1 from 1933-37 The other won 26 in a row from 68-70 and 30 in a row 99-00. Quote
Tyler Dixson Posted November 22, 2016 Report Posted November 22, 2016 2 minutes ago, Goblin said: One went 51-1 from 1933-37 The other won 26 in a row from 68-70 and 30 in a row 99-00. That second on is Mart I believe. Is the first one Hull-Daisetta? Quote
Goblin Posted November 22, 2016 Author Report Posted November 22, 2016 Mart is indeed the last one. Hull-Daisetta is a good guess. They actually had not just Texas but the Nation's longest winning streak in the late 1930's and held that record for almost 2 decades. They won 42 games in a row which was a record in 11-man until Abilene passed it in the mid-1950's Quote
Goblin Posted November 22, 2016 Author Report Posted November 22, 2016 ccsbasketballplayer wins this one. Keep your eyes open for more in the future. Tyler Dixson 1 Quote
Englebert Posted November 22, 2016 Report Posted November 22, 2016 I think Fort Hancock is one. And I think Amarillo is another. [Just saw someone else posted this one.] Quote
