adminbaberuth Posted March 2, 2007 Author Report Posted March 2, 2007 Bridge City is a strong team. They have a legit shot to go deep again. Stringer is the real deal, spots the ball well on all his pitches. I like the catcher Robertson, I was told he was Freshman, plays like a senior. Sulphur can swing the bat. It will be a good match when they play BC.
Guest Orangeboy Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 BC is carrying 2 freshmen up to this point. Joe Robertson and Matt Hicks.
Critter Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 First, one word about Matt Hicks...WOW a couple of bobbles but nothing got past him, and he's just a FRESHMAN....WOW...Meeks looked a little shaky at the start but settled down just fine...Dishon looked like he was throwing pretty hard last night in clean up duty not sure how hard but hard..
Guest kosmo Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 WOW, that is a pretty impressive start. I may have to leave work early and go check out the 2:30 game. That is awesome.
Critter Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 BC plays at 2:30 today?? against who Sulfur???
kem up 10 Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Yes Sulpher, and look for either freshman Hicks, or senior Bolten on the mound this game.
Guest bcboy31 Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 SO WHOS PLAYIN BC IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP TOMORROW?
KFDM COOP Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 BC and we'll find out who else later tonight.
East TX Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Those two ninth graders--Hicks on the mound and Robertson behind the plate were more than impressive this evening. They both have HRs this year, WOW. Those year round programs are producing some quality quite complete players at young ages. BC again has a quality team and a real future with the feed programs in place. Sulphur(4A) was swamped but came back at the last to lose by only a score of 10-6. It will be a good final game by two of the better teams representing each state.
