Would Da Dove be the referee?   Keep in mind that Hoops is a liberal and I am a conservative.  With Dove officiating, I would be called for traveling or double dribble on every possession before I could get a shot off.

You betcha.  I'm to old, but maybe we cud get Englebert to Ref also, and keep Dove on the up and up.  And to be honest, Hoops is just a slightly lost conservative.  By today's standards, he's a moderate (they're a dying breed).  But he's an authority on basketball, that's for dang sure.

I think Nash and I would be better served as commentators. You know, kind of like a "Crossfire" for basketball.  I think both of our playing days are over.  I'm getting winded just reading this thread...

I think Nash would be better at coaching. He and I have coached several overtime games in our career.
