Stafford 37 Bridge City 28/FINAL

Stafford played a good game and earned that "w." We made a few mistakes, and they made us pay. They also made key stops when it counted. We got the ball back with practically no time left and the score at 28-31. Stafford recovered a fumble on the last play of the game to score their last 6. 

 

I was was really proud that our kids never gave up even when down by 17 in the fourth. To pull back within 3 points shows how much heart the Cards played with. 

 

Stafford's program has come long way since we rolled them in 2010 and 2011. They should be proud of themselves for tonight.

What a great fight by BC to almost pull out the comeback. Graduating a great senior class but don't think this will be the last you hear from them.

I really enjoyed "hitching a playoff ride" with the BC Cards this season!  Great team, great fans, great community. Congrats to all !
