king Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 The most adored head coach to ever lose to Memphis, SMU and Navy in the same year. PhatMack19 1 Quote
Tigers2010 Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 Can't say I didn't see this coming. LSU was a smoke screen to make sure Texas didn't take their time in the hiring process. No question Strong had 3 down years in terms of wins and losses, but you can't deny it was on the rise. Look at the recruiting classes he was getting. The pieces are there and more are coming. They were not mature enough yet. Herman will have the pieces, but needs to keep recruiting well. Texas has to be patient. About a week ago 1 Quote
Eazy Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 Don't believe everything you read. Quote
Eazy Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 Kyle Allen supposedly will follow Herman to Texas. Quote

After this years debacle, recruits would have figured out the bad coaching too! #ishouldignorepoststhisridulous Hookem Quote

Herman has talent on the roster...as we both just stated. You should have ignored the post. Grow up, quit taking yourself so serious, children use hashtags. Dumb arse Quote

Tigers2010 Posted November 26, 2016 Report Posted November 26, 2016 The program is on the rise. A freshman QB has been better than anyone on that roster since McCoy. Next year I'm sure he will be even better. The defense giving up 40 a game is what has to change. Herman and company allowed 40 to Memphis. How is your brilliant analysis on that. If you loved Houston as you loved UT, how do you think you would feel about Herman after losing to Navy, SMU, and Memphis. Wouldn't you want his job? Hashtags are still for kids man. Quote

UH's 2017 class is ranked 35th to Texas' 61st only due to number of commits(21 to 7.) I don't think UH has many commits that Herman would want to take with him though. Quote

Peppermint Patty Posted November 27, 2016 Report Posted November 27, 2016 Seems that most people knew Herman was leaving this year with the exception of the players at UH. It's a stepping stone program and always will be. Just win some games with the next up and comer. Quote

TxHoops Posted November 27, 2016 Report Posted November 27, 2016 Did a player, A PLAYER, complain in a tweet about the coach losing control of HIS locker room? Smh. Look no further than this tweet to see a lot of what's wrong in our world today... UTfanatic 1 Quote
