Pearson wasn't as tall as RJ is but the guy could run, that playoff game was one of the best games ive seen right until the fourth qt believe the score was 28-28 before he started the track meet against us lol. very very fast. No need to compare him to Daytons star, Shug is shug, he is gonna break a lot of records lol! Hate that he wants to go to Texas, would rather see him in the SEC, I look for Alabama to come calling, With Hurst there now, he would damn sure be a great replacement. Where ever he goes I will be sure to watch! Chase your dreams RJ, the sky is the limit. Would love to see him go to LSU!

Roschon was on my brothers sons team in junior football. They were dominate. I have been watching for him for several years. The abilities of Adam Morse (Lamar now) kept the uproar of Roschon quiet at PNG until after last season. We had the one Roschon sighting against Ozen last year for a few plays. Most in PNG new he was going to be a star. Just had to wait until his time arrived. Congrats Roschon and family this is a well deserved honor.

I guess we should go ahead and crown PNG district champs the next two years, no need to play yall.

Me too being that I live in LA. Herman at Texas was huge to him though.Ultimately, its up to how each program would present itself. He's going to keep options open.

When its all said and done, I agree with you 100%. Shug wants to be PNG's best ever and he is going to make it as difficult as he can for anyone to compare him to because PNG has never had a QB with his total package.

Well the Nederland kids has never beat a RJ quarterbacked team. I've watched RJ play CO Wilson his 7th & 8th grade while he was at PNMS, since I have a young man in the same grade going to Nederland. Last year RJ was on varsity and the 9th grade team split the games against PNG's 9th grade team.

I will always support PNG until the week of MCM and then I'm 100% a Bulldog fan. Please fix the Bum Phillips trophy PNG broke and bring it back to Nederland next year and hopefully both teams will be healthy and may the best team and best coached team will win in 2017.

As humble as that kid is, RJ is going to get sick and tired of this love fest over the next two years.  I'll pile on, he is one impressive football player.  Can't wait to host him at Jerry Mallory Field next year.

I think Alabama would be a key objective if shug wants to win a NCAA title, that would be a sure fire fit. Don't believe Texas will be a contender for a national championship for years to come, but I could be wrong lol. As long as Saban is there that is where my money would be!

i personally don't care where but that the program has a pro style offense. Those guys tend to perform well and end up having less holes in their game by the time they are done or get drafted. If it was my own choice to make, it would be Bama then LSU

As much of an impact player that he is on offense would love to see him play on Defense at the safety position. I think his skills attributes would shine on the defensive side of the ball as well, seeing as he was young playing the position in the youth league. Sooner or later Coach Fairclothe will realize that we need some help in the defense department. I know he put Mczeal on the defensive line earlier this year but I don't think that was the right place for him. He was doubled most of the time when he was put in on defense maybe that was the gameplan I dunno lol

I hate Alabama but you have to repect them as they know how to win and do it all the time, my heart is with LSU but it is what it is. Im sure he will get exposure to all of them in the near future. Not sure if you are familiar with Tigerdroppings , think that is what LSUs commentary is at. wouldn't hurt to send them his highlight reel no doubt.

I think you could see that if he wasn't the Qb. Now he is much too valuable on O. During te Nederland game, he said he felt like he couldn't move his legs when he went to the sidelines he was so tired. At this point, you prolly would wear him down.

I do remember his safety days tho. He was knocking kids out of games and forcing teams to forfeit at one point. Think that was a Lumberton youth team. He would have been nasty on that side.
