OK everybody, who you got and what do you know? Winner of this game gets winner of WOS vs. Giddings. Last year, Cuero gave WOS the best game of the post season, IMO. Perennial state powerhouse, tradition to rival WOS.

Both teams can score if you look at their stats on offense, but Cuero has a much better defense than Navarro. Cuero should win.

WOS would shut down Navarro easily...  Lot's of points but still Slot-T and not even as good as last year when Cuero beat them and Navarro only managed 14 points against a 2A team this year. Yes Refugio is awesome but they also have half the enrollment of Newton and only lost 6-14.

 it's a toss up IMO.  I have my Cuero friends so I'm rooting for Cuero yet know that Cuero and Gilmer would match up the best against us.

I'm taking Cuero.........but it will be by no means a shocker if Navarro wins. 

I agree with Goblin though. Cuero gives WOS a better game.

Cuero like WO-S has a good defense.Not giving up many points and should handle Navarro easily.Cuero is such a rich tradition team.Always wanted to play them sense we moved down and got our chance last year.They did not disappoint.They deserve another crack at us.Cuero.....just kind of rolls off the tongue.lol

Cuero is a neat, pretty little town. My wife and I were there back in September; purchased a travel trailer. Of course at the heart of the town is the football stadium which rivals any other town of their size in the state. I liken it to Carthage's field. It always amazes me how much the small towns in Texas put into their high school football teams...no where else in the U.S.

I will be in the minority with this pick, but I see Navarro squeaking out a win by five points or less. Cuero had Navarro's number the last three years in the playoffs, but this time I believe Navarro breaks through. They are a senior filled team, full of motivation to get that green monkey off their back, they've added a nice little passing game to their offensive structure, and it's the best team in their school history. In one sense, this is like a state championship game for Navarro. Just getting by Cuero is gonna take all they've got, and with this senior laden bunch, I think they'll find a way.

WOW! I personally think this victory would be as big as us vs. PAM but wouldn't be a total shocker. One thing I've learned from a few years of watching high school football it's hard to defeat that tradition thing....Cuero has it.

My co-worker been talking Cuero all season and said it was the team that bothered the most. I will be trying to see if this game will be streamed so I can check it out.

I just don't want to play in that crummy stadium y'all played in two years ago in Rosenberg against Sinton. Better off playing in Vidor. Berry Center would be awesome if not Texan Drive. It will be WOS vs. Cuero, IMO.

I was told that no matter who wins that WOS will play at NRG stadium on Friday 7:30 pm, if we win as well.
