Guest bleed orange Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 TXbaseball good thing you did not bet any money on that game.
Guest jbseballfan Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Didn't know they took bets for JV games.....thought they saved that for the big boys.
Guest bleed orange Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 You can bet on a little league game if you want. I wonder if anyone has ever done that? I am sure someone has.
baseball1972 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 It's difficult to hang with a good hitting team when your tossing up BP balls. Vidor is a class act and played well. Warren's middle infield is still having some problems, both fielding and mental errors. On the bright side for Warren---Levi West hit his 3rd HR in 3 games. Maybe its time to put him in the 3 hole. He's a great lead off man, but we're losing some RBI's there. Trey Babino, out of the 7 slot , went 2/3 and is 8/11 with a HR and 2 doubles in the last 3 games. These seniors are doing their jobs and as a whole the Warren team is improving every game. The pitching, allthough not overpowering, is throwing strikes and keeping the ball in play. The boys really seem to like this coaching staff and are looking forward to district. maybe they should think about Harrington in the leadoff spot.
whsalum Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 Or Swinney, when his stick comes around he can flat out hit and has great speed.
baseballrules Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 i just think levi is a little bit wasted there...but its just a different school of thought. He is a great lead-off in that he gets on base probly 80% of the time, and he has great speed...but hes also a good power hitter, with a lot of doubles and more HRs than anybody else on the team: a great candidate for 3rd batter or clean-up. All in all, hes just a great hitter...
