bronco1 Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 I can't believe that, never would have thought it.
bronco1 Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Playoffs 8 out of 9 seasons, sounds OK to me.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Dumb move. I hope he has good luck finding another job.
Guest ECBucFan Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 Is it my imagination, or what? Seems like some schools have a hair-trigger with their coaches, ready to toss them at a moments notice. Playoffs 8 out of 9 seasons, and gone? That just ain't right (unless something else happened we don't know about....) 8 of 9 is a record many schools would envy! Whats up with that? ???
rapayne Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 I am trying to get him on the phone right now, will keep all informed with what happens
ballcoach Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Liberty has decided Football is not as important as Baseball or some of the other lesser sports. They will get their wish!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I remember when we had trouble with Liberty (SFA) very good in football, and was a football school, i wonder what happened?
Guest Yard Bird Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I wish he and his family well. He is Great Man.
bronco1 Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Well after this next season some school is gonna get a good coach and Liberty is losing one.
bleacher_bum Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 This is a copy of the article posted on the Liberty Shine all Nine Radio Gram (March 1st).Liberty School Superintendent Mona Chadwick said Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Jeff Stewart got a no-confidence vote from school trustees who failed to approve extending his contract at a recent board meeting. The board’s inaction on his contract leaves Stewart with one year to go as athletic director and head coach of the Liberty Panthers Football Team. In his nine seasons, Jeff Stewart has 55 wins, 43 losses. His teams’ reached the playoffs 8 of those 9 seasons.
Guest ECBucFan Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 No sense. ??? What's up with this? Politics? How sad.
Guest BLADE Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 The IQ of the Liberty school board must be astounding. What a joke. Get out of there Jeff and take your winnning ways with you.
HFHORNS Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Politics???????? Do they actually play a part in high school football?????????? I cant imagine that. We can't win a game and we keep the same coaches year after year. It must be that we have no kids with talent it could have nothing to do with the coaching. Please......U just need to learn to kiss up to the right people to keep your job. You don't have to have a winning record that has been a proven fact at Hf.
Guest BLADE Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 Sounds like HFHORNS did not get to play much when they were beating Liberty last year. ;D
Wes57 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 He has told the kids as of now he will be back this season
HFHORNS Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 Sounds like HFHORNS did not get to play much when they were beating Liberty last year. ;D Wrong again blade. Hamshire politics are ridiculous.
Splendora guy Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 i know some players from liberty, and they all like jeff stewart why the change?? anyone know?
