Congrats to the Stangs!! ......So I guess the Big question now is Who replaces Jack Dallas?

Chaka Watson. He will be up to the task. For now enjoy this state championship this weekend. At WOS getting ready for next year starts Monday. #3peat

What's crazy is wos destroyed silsbee who only lost to Carthage by 4, and some say that wos couldn't compete in division 1...

yeah that's just dumb...and actually Silsbee should've won that game

It doesn't matter.  I'm happy. ctown is happy.  I'm not gonna worry about a game that won't be played.

Congrats WOS and fans. What a fine time to be a Mustang. Were not just talking about a season for WOS Mustangs were talking about a season for the ages. One of the very best seasons in the history of Texas High School football. You guys have had some special players and coaches for years but, this one was one for the ages.

I was there to witness history.  The most consistent program east of the Trinity.  Congrats on your victory WO-S

As an aside, 46-2 the last 3 years?

Same here.  Congratulations to WOS. The best defense of all time in Texas. In the day and age of the spread offenses,  this is more impressive than that D field in 83. Would have loved to see them against Gilmers offense,  match up would have been out of this world.

You can't go by like opponents.  It's all about match ups. I think Gilmer would have Matched up better with you guys than Sweetwater. Yall would still be Champs but I believe Gilmer could have put a couple of scores on the board. It's all about match ups.

As for Carthage / Silsbee,  I just think the Dawgs have their number. Going into the game, many in Carthage knee there was a good chance we'd be airing up basketballs.  That's was made this team so special.  District play left a ton of question marks.

Keep in mind that Big Sandy only played 14 games in 1975 even still what makes that team impressive is that they scored over 800 points and only gave up 15 points all year long

That looked brutal and intentionally

What a bunch of bull! Was definitely brutal but not intentional. Prayers for the kid of course, but he should Not be running that much especially against the Chain Gang D. Any team in any class, pros, or anything shouldn't be letting their QB run so much, especially considering how small that kid was and he had no blocker. Could see this coming from a SW fan but a PNG fan??

One more comment I'd like to make, if this Forum has a vote for the worst two announcers in 2016, I want it on record, I vote for the two that did the WOS game on TV.

The next clue that color guy Ken McClure gets will be his first.  I don't think he got one name right all freaking day.
