Better not have a conflict with "date night" :)

Date night? As in a full night of no work at all? Why you think I was in trouble when I had to cancel on what was going to be a quick 1 hour dinner at the house lol

With 1:47 left in the game, Kelly makes its first sub.  Marion leads 70-53

That starting 5 must be in great shape.  Even that's not enough when you play two quality teams in one day though.  Still, for a school Kelly's size, great showing.

Marion is just that good!

Their PG #3 Dialo Small is a player.  Consistently got to the middle of the paint and hit a slasher.  One of the better PGs I've seen this year.

And their "big" man #5 Edwards had his way with Kelly.  Giving up about 4 inches to Kelly's Big and played about 4 inches taller.

#5 Edwards finished with 11. Stansberry and Thomas both had 17 but the real story of the game was on the offensive glass where they had a 20-6 advantage. Defensive boards were 20-18. Marion is the 4th ranked 5A school in Louisiana with all 5 starters returning from last years team who lost in the state championship game. No excuses about playing in 2 games in the same day or only having 5 players touch the floor for us. We will use this to prepare for district play. Tonight's match up in the championship game between Marion and Memorial will be a fast paced, fun game to watch. Don't miss that!

They are used to it. Especially our returning starters. They have been playing without subs for 3 and 4 years now.
