Hagar Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 As someone told me a couple of years ago, Lipan may be 1A, but they can play some ball. True enough. Quote
Hagar Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 I heard Lipan won 78-55 over Tenaha for the Championship. Rumor I heard, when those kids are born in Lipan, they come out of the womb with a basketball in their hands. It sounds like the dying truth. Quote

Lipan looked like a good 5A. Nice guards. Hagar 1 Quote

I'm certainly no authority, but I wouldn't be at all surprised for them to beat the #1's in 2A & 3A. I think Tenaha was #2 in 2A and they had their way with them - in Tenaha. Pretty dang impressive for 1A. Reminds me of Buna back in the 50's. Quote

Friend from PA told me in the 50's, TJ won State in 4A (Big Schools at the time) and their only loss was to Buna in a tournament. It was another real life example of Hoosiers if true. Quote
