Typical Liberal Thinking!

I don't even know what to think of this....

A visit from a plumber left ThinkProgress senior editor Ned Resnikoff "rattled" due to fear that the plumber may have voted for Donald Trump.

Resnikoff stated his fears in a November Facebook post, a

The plumbing visit, which came four days after the 2016 election, became a harrowing experience for Resnikoff even though the plumber was "a perfectly nice guy and a consummate professional."

"He was a perfectly nice guy and a consummate professional," Resnikoff shared. "But he was also a middle-aged white man with a southern accent who seemed unperturbed by this week's news."

Resnikoff said his fear was rooted in the chance that the plumber knew he was Jewish.

"While I had him in the apartment, I couldn't stop thinking about whether he had voted for Trump, whether he knew my last name is Jewish, and how that knowledge might change the interaction we were having inside my own home," he said.

The "uncertainty" of the situation left Resnikoff "rattled for some time."

"I have no real reason to believe he was a Trump supporter or an anti-Semite, but in my uncertainty I couldn't shake the sense of potential danger," he wrote. "I was rattled for some time after he left."

Resnikoff says that he is does not often have a "sense of danger" because he is "still a straight, white guy who can phenotypically pass for gentile" and his "first name is pretty WASP-y."

In terms for African Americans, people like Carson, Thomas, Steele, Rice, Powell, Cain, and many more would disagree.  In terms of Liberals, they beat up Obama for not being left enough.

I am not referring to leader of African Americans. I am referring to Obama as leader of the Dems, who, in the previous post by Mack were hanging an anti-police painting. Which is not surprising, Obama has blamed the police for everything and has not once came to their defense even when the evidence pointed to it.

Once again, I am curious about your response to my question on this very matter in the other thread.

Well, we do have a public that gets extreme if a leader says even ONE thing they don't agree with.  We lack balance in this country.  Too much all or none mentality.  You have career conservatives that have taken ONE unpopular position on an issue and they've been banished.  Crazy.

Confirmed with a tie breaking vote by Pence.  According to the left, this will be the end of public schools as we know it.  Stupid liberals!

If we got rid of the dept. of ed, a national election would have no impact on INDEPENDENT school districts.

States need no help, or direction,  in educating their own.

How can you say that when you know very well that a compassionate, efficient, benevolent government is the best solution for all problems?

    • naw, maaaaybe 7, definitely not 8 deep.  today im avoiding sitting by #10s parents, had to move away yesterday.   "put my son back in jub, put my son back in"  and then crying on every little touch of someone.    lets ball out today ktz!
    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.  We'll be at McNeese this Friday night at 6pm.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
