A GREAT, GREAT effort Tigers.  And this from a team that was considered a "No-Change" at the beginning of the season.  We in Silsbee are very proud of you.  Now, let's get behind the Hawks and see if we can bring home a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Whew...........or should I say Wooooooooooooooooo.......What a game on both sides of the floor.  HJ down by 10 after 1.  Trailed in the 2nd by as many as 15 and finally trailed by 5 at half.  In the 3rd came out cold again and playing poor, but battled back to a 10 point deficit to start the 4th.  Then the Donahoe and Big Woo Show took over.  With Silsbee's bigs in foul trouble we just drove with RD and pounded the rock to Woo.  What a game with HJ finally taking their 1st lead with about a minute to play.  Shannon Robinson came down with HJ in a 2-3 zone and popped a 3 to give the Tigers the lead by 2 with less than a minute in regulation.  On the next Silsbee possession Trey Burrell stole the ball and threw it down court to a streaking Donahoe for a layup and what should have been called a foul.  Both teams looked like they were worn out....Overtime started with the Hawks gaining a 4 point lead and they never looked back.  What a game!!!!!!!!  Congrats to both teams on a hard fought game!!!!!!

HJ will face 3A Wylie in the Semi finals...See sticky.

That is not accurate...it will not be determined who they will face until at 9 am tomorrow morning....That is just the way that the bracket appears.  They will reseed for the Final Four!!!!!  They could play Wylie but it is not guaranteed!!
