Southeast Texas Coaches Association selected Debbie Hollyfield as GirlsVolleyball Coach of the Year. Coach Hollyfield led her team to a 32-7 record last season. Evadale lost in the Regional Final to State Champion Iola.

Hollyfield started her Coaching career in Spurger and has been at Evadale for the past 13 years. She has a career District won loss record of 118-10 at Evadale

You are absolutely correct oldschool2. Robert Hollyfield has been at Evadale for 20 years now and has a district record of 185-15. His team will close in on win number 500 next season. Dont know if Husband and Wife coaches at same school won COY in same year. Might be a first.
