Region 3 in 2a in looking really strong this year!! Who will make it out ?? 

Tenaha, shelbyville,Alto, Pineywoods , evadale,big sandy,Grapeland??

I'll take Tenaha with Grapeland Regional runner up.

I would also add Chireno in that mix of teams you listed.

There is definitely a couple teams in there that could pull an upset or two. This will be a fun Region to watch!

Agreed. Don't know much about these teams, but EC played Tenaha in the MM tournament and they are good. Have no doubt they will make a run.

I have heard that chireno is really good at home but on the road they really have troubles!!

I know Grapeland is going to be a tough team to beat, and well BS is still BS whether or not they lost players to graduation. Don't know much about Tenaha, Shelbyville or Evadale but I am sure they are as good as there record and stats look. However, Pineywoods, Alto and Chireno all have good teams that can run with any 2A in the Region.

Very unselfish player that elevates the entire team with his presence.

A guy told me that wile I was watching grapeland said he had a very good game the first time they played this year !!

I didn't get to see that game but I heard Grapeland pulled it out by 10 I believe.

Imo, Reg 3 will have a few close games down the stretch.

Teneha and Grapeland are a good bit better than the rest of the region.

House kid from PCA is a stud. I've seen him throw down a couple times, including a nasty put back dunk over a couple kids. 

 

I think Evadale's got a chance to make a run because of how deep their bench is, but i believe Teneha will take it.

Also just saw were Dist 21, Neches, who is 25-1, defeated Tenaha in Jan, in Tenaha.  And Alto, also in Dist 21, is 18-4 and ranked #21.  Yep, going to be some good basketball in these playoffs.

I know Alto and PCA have had some real good games. Alto has a good looking team.

Yep, close games, and Neches only beat Alto by 2 points.  All 3 of them are like thoroughbreds down the stretch noses apart.
