Following the 50th Anniversary of "The Game", the Rangers and ganders will not play next season as originally scheduled.

GCM will replace RSS on Lee's schedule and PNG will now play RSS instead of GCM.

Is this for the 2017 season or beginning in 2018.  I am unclear.

Yes.

Quite probable that REL will not play either team after the next realignment.

Wow, well that is dissapointing. Sterling/Lee was not what it used to be, but I still enjoyed going every year.

The hope is that GCM and RSS will become a competitive rivalry. Just need another "Fall of '71" to happen soon.

Story in the paper says they are contemplating combining the three schools. That would be the first wise decision they have made in some time.

It would definitely be a step in the right direction in regard to being more competitive in athletics.

They talked about doing that when I was in highschool and had some serious discussions about it right after I graduated. It did not have the public opinion at the time and that led to it being tabled which eventually led to GCM being built. I wonder if it would get more support now. I am shocked they are actually considering it. Seemed to make more sense with 2 high schools, dont know how the split would work with 3 campuses.
