not a bad start to the season over a RANKED opponent!

The starting pitchers threw well, going deep in all games. We will know more as the season progresses!

I do like modifications to DFF.

The field is more player friendly!

Anytime you take 2 of 3 from Rice, it's a successful weekend.  I like their coaching hire.   They should give Tech and TCU a run this year in the Big 12

Ags blew out Bowling Green in all 3 games out scoring them 50-8.  BG was brutal so it's hard to get a good read, but I was really impressed with some of the Freshman.

Talent wise the Ags are there, but they lost a lot of the team leaders from last year.  If someone can step up and lead this young team, A&M will be in the hunt for Omaha.

A&M won on a wild pitch on an attempted intentional walk.  A few hours before that, the MLB announced they are not going to make the pitchers throw for an intentional walk.  That's a dumb rule to save like 15 seconds a game.

Good thing the MLB is changing that rule.

LSU's Jared Poche lost his no hit bid in the 9th today after throwing a 7 inning no hitter in his 1st start of the season.

Pepperdine beat A&M 2-1.  Ags had 3 guys picked off and 2 caught stealing.  They made bone headed plays all day.

Uconn beat Texas today 2-1 and drop to 4-3 on the year.

UConn will win the AAC. Quality team with 2 studs on the mound Fridays and Saturdays.
