I give Dunbar a slight edge in this one but make no mistake - this Dunbar team is not nearly as talented as the one that won state with Jeremis Smith and Lance Jackson. There is no one that comes close to being as good as those 2. Should be very entertaining with both teams looking to play an up tempo style. Whichever team can execute better in the half court probably takes it. I'm thinking Dunbar by 6-8 points. Guest ltownbaseball9 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 yeah boutte has alot of game plans and one of them are he will get the lead and slow the ball down and stall and make the other team come to him and then ozen gets the win......thats what they did through out the whole playoffs this year he changes the game speed and makes the other team get out of there style of basketball......and Dunbar runs and guns and if anybody can take them out of there game its Ozen and coach boutte.......
Trojan 87 Posted March 7, 2007 Author Report Posted March 7, 2007 Haven't seen Ozen play since earlier in the year and they were pretty up-tempo in the games I saw, however if you look at their scores in the playoffs, they have slowed things down quite a bit. Guest ltownbaseball9 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 yeah they slowed things up becasue there playing against better teams......ozen can play the fast pace and the slow pace......and what boutte does is he gets the lead and starts to play the slow pace offense becasue his defense can get stops.....and thats why there going to state this year becasue boutte has made adjustments......
ozens fastest@1906 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 What Ozen and Coach Boutte does is make the other team get out of their game plan and any good coach knows that if you have a team thats is one demisional if you can get them out of their comfort zone then you can beat them
Trojan 87 Posted March 7, 2007 Author Report Posted March 7, 2007 He's done one of his better coaching jobs this year and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't pull the upset Thursday night. It won't be easy though, they'll have to play their best game.
