Outstanding record, almost unbelievable! Barbers Hill also puts a very good team on the floor year in and year out and this year is no exception. This should be a great game! Go Eagles!

Bronco/Cat Fan, I wholeheartedly agree with you.  Canyon is known for patience, discipline, defense - and more importantly, fundamentals of the game.  I remember the announcer specifically stating during last year's state game, Canyon vs. Crosby: "Canyon loves playing against more athletic teams."

Yes, BH does put very good teams on the floor year in and year out.  I am optimistic BH will come out on top against Canyon.

that's an old list.  Danley broke 500 in 2014 I believe and Kit broke it in 2015.  (She got her 400th when she was here).  McMinn got his 500th win in December per CC newspaper.

It shows Lombard with 1160 which he had before state tournament in 2014.

    • Coincidence?  The school district tried their best to keep God in school by allowing school prayer on campus. They are not the ones who rejected God at school, Supreme Court did that.  If it was not a coincidence and there was divine intervention, was SFISD punished by God for fighting it all the way to the Supreme Court to keep Him on campus? Your logic seems flawed.
    • I'd like to be a homer and say Silsbee, but lets be real here. We'll see just how good the Tiger offensive line is in this one. Bellville - 42 Tigers - 21 I don't think it will be as bad as last year.
    • Center community and school board made a commitment a few years ago to be the top facility in Shelby county. They have gradually been putting pieces in place that include the coliseum as mentioned above as well as a 100 yard covered pavilion (same one as Marshall) and a refurbished grass baseball stadium that includes a long term maintenance contract where the district does not maintain the turf. Girls athletics moved to the coliseum and the boys locker room was torn out and refashioned into a weight room. Center tennis facilities were already the best in East Texas. Not many in East Texas have better than Center at the moment
