SpaceX Does the Undoable

I find it strange that this private company has successfully launched a rocket into space, and brought that same rocket back to a successful landing.  Something Russia, China, nor anyone else has been able to do, without much fanfare.  Pretty remarkable.  Although the US didn't do it, the Space Shuttle was a comparable success.  And now SpaceX is planning on sending two paying customers around the moon and back.
